New kid on the 'quilt' block
#1
Hi everyone,
So happy to have found this site and look forward to utilizing every aspect of it. Love all it has to offer. I always wanted to learn to quilt and when health issues forced me into early retirement in 2009 I could not think of a better time to take up the one thing I could only dream about! So far I have made eight quilts and there is no stopping me now. Bonnie

Hi MinnieKat,
I used to live in East Grand Forks when I was a kid. I grew up in Wisconsin and transplanted here in San Diego in 1981. Don't miss the snow but sure do miss everything else about the mid-west. Take care and thanks for the welcome. Bonnie

Hi nana pat,
I might be in the same boat as you if I were not taking classses as they keep me on track. I am working on one quilt on my own and so far am seriously lagging on completing it!!! You should open an on-line store or sell your quilt tops on ebay as lots of people like to just buy the tops so they can customize the long arm stitching and backing. Take care and thank you so much for the welcome. Bonnie
