Hi. My name is Joan. I live on the south shore of Long Island. I started my first quilt 17 years agao. It was a doll quilt for my daughter done all by hand. It took 2 years to complete. I didn't start another project until 5 years ago. I took a quilting class and haven't stopped quilting since. I am working on my 20th quilt...a memory quilt for my friend's daughter. Most of the quilts I have made were either made for a charity or given out to friends/family. I am a stay at home mom with an empty nest so it leaves me plenty of time to quilt. I found this website because I was looking for a BOM to do with a friend.
