Hi,
I'm from deer isle, Maine, an island on the coast. Lots of rain from Hurricane Earl, a bit of wind, no damage.
I sew quilts as I can, have done slowly for am long time, and I'm teaching 10y/o granddaughter how to quilt. Both of us love color, saturated colors.

Hi, and welcome from Texas. Good to hear Hurricane Earl went by with no damage.
I always enjoy quilting when it rains.

I have always wanted to visit Maine. Got close going to Keepsake Quilting a few years ago.
I too, am teaching my GD to quilt.
Hope you have a wonderful time, bonding with your GD and the wonderful colors of fabrics!
