Hi welcome from Australia. I too am developing an interest in vintage sewing machines to go with my collection of vintage sewing implements. I have my eye on a machine that I am going to look at tomorrow, hope you find a nice one soon.

Welcome to the quilting Board Jackie! I'm from Nevada, have a long background in sewing, did quilts 30 years ago, and am now picking it up again in retirement. My, have things changed! I would so love to have my old Singer one stitch back. What a workhorse of a machine. But I have one of those new computerized sewing machines, a Janome, that does absolutely everything, and I love that too. But sometimes I'd just like to sit down and just sew, straight line, even if I have to do my own button holes by hand like we used to!
