Hi! My name is Ann and I am from Alabama, close to Lake Martin, which is going strong this time of year with fishing, boat riding and swimming and lots of vaction fun.
I have quilted for about four years now and just finished a quilt that took me a long time to make about four years. I made it for my sister in law so I wanted it to be special. She is a red hat and I embroidered all the hats by hand and quilted it by hand.
I love to quilt and belong to a quilting bee in Wetumpkia, Al. I have learn a lot from these ladies because most of them have quilted all their lives and they range from ages of 60 years to the 8o's.
I like to embroidy, Crochet and scrapbooking. I love to can in the summer,and baking. I guess I like to do some of all. My favorite is quilting. I like to make quilts that are diffrent but I love making them all.
I would love to join a block of the month.
I am happy I found this place.
