How do you do?

My name is Renna, and I live in northeast Texas. I'm not a quilter...yet!

I was given an older Brother PC8500D sewing/embroidery machine. I'm having trouble making heads or tails of what to do with it. My limited sewing experience has been on a very old, portable Singer my mom gave me years ago. In my search to find out something about this Brother I've received, I stumbled across this website. Since I do plan to learn about quilting, I thought it looked like an informative, and friendly place to glean some knowledge, and maybe some friends!
