New as a member
I have followed this board for some time. I decided it was time to join to get into all the fun. I have sewn for many years making clothes for kids and myself as well as home decorating. I have made a couple quilts in the past that I thought were pretty good but are in no comparison to what I see here. Last spring i was volunteered to make a quilt by my daughter. I did this with her help in colors and design choice. I did a rail fence. I had so much fun making it that I have been making blocks, mug rugs, table runners, a couple lap quilts and a full size quilt. The full size was a denim quilt cut from old jeans that I have been collecting for many years. (The denim is to good to throw away.)
I have learned so much by following this board. Thank you all for sharing the many tips and ideas that you have. Kathy
