Hi, my name is Lynne Plotner-Pierce and my husband, Donald and I live in Surprise, AZ. We moved here ten years ago for my health. I have a bad case of Lyme disease and needed to be where the humidity is low. I have had it for 19 years and this is the best I have felt. There are a lot of great quilters here and I belong to Calico Cut-Ups and Arizona Quilt Guild. I used to be a painter but when I learned how to quilt I just about gave up painting. We now have about 5 quilt shops within 15 miles which makes a great choice as each shop has it's own flavor of fabrics. In our community I started a charity quilting group and we are a very prolific little group who make wonderful quilts and my husband does most of the quilting for us. Our little dogs seem to enjoy our quilting too and love to sit right in the middle of the quilts. I really enjoy this group. You come up with some great ideas and questions.
