Hello from Norton,MA. I have never quilted before but would love to learn. I'm looking for a quilting guild near me to help point me in the right direction. I tend to take on more than I can possibly handle at one time and then get overwhelmed. It is nice to see you are willing to adopt newbies with such enthusiasm. This looks like it may be a fun place to learn. Judy

Hello from Minnesota. Welcome. Stop in at your local quilt shop and they can probably direct you to a local quilt guild.

Welcome from NW Wisconsin! I agree that visiting a local quilt shop or two is a good idea. Also, please make your first projects relatively simple, but with great fabrics that you love -- you'll have more success and more fun. And, sometimes it's better to just try something, even without a pattern -- it's a good way to learn.
