Hi, I just heard about this site on TV this morning. I live about 15 miles from a small town at the mouth of the Columbia River. Astoria Oregon. I'm married, 29 years now, and have 2 kids, 1 daughter, 21 moving to Portland to go to Bible College, and a son 17, a senior at our local high school. I am a stay at home mom and wife, so I have a lot of time to quilt. i am working on my 6th quilt this year. It is a signature quilt. A friend of mine, her D I L, has terminal brain cancer. I thought I should try and do something, so I decided to make a quilt and I sold strips that I cut, and so far I have 327 strips and have made $1086. to give to the family. I will make sure that I will post pics of it when I am done. :D
