Hi, I'm Janet from Manchaca, Texas(few min. from Buda). I have been reading this board for a while, but decided to join. It seems to be the best quilting board I've ever been on. I am very new to quilting, but have been sewing since I was a child sitting on the floor making barbie clothes while my mom and grandmother sewed. I have started an applique quilt for my grandson, and also a PP Quilt. Haven't gotten them put together yet, and the pp is all done by hand. I know that I have alot of questions about putting them together, but I will post on that at a later date. I really enjoy reading all the posts and looking at all the pictures. I would be very interested in meeting any local ladies (or men) who quilt in my area.
