New to Quilting Board
What a great idea! My name is Mary and I live in Maryville, TN. After a long illness, I am back to quilting and knitting. I'm enjoying getting to know fellow quilters in the area (we moved here after I got sick) and online. I've even joined Quilters Club of America and am organizing a quilting retreat for next June right here in my Smoky Mountains! It's such fun getting to know quilters from all over.

Welcome. Sorry to hear about your illness but glad you are well enough to do needlework. I stopped making stuff during chemo treatments but am back now. Just saying this so you know that you are not alone and that others are happy for your getting better. 
Good luck with your retreat. And lots of kuddos for taking on that project.
