New to Quilting
Hi everyone! I am basically new to quilting and sewing. I have never sewn anything more than a patch on a pair of jeans until three yrs ago I sewed a baby quilt for my grandson. I am now in the process of a lap quilt for my mom I hope to be done by Christmas. I am really just learning as I go. I did take a beginners class a couple yrs ago, and need to retake it. I am hoping to get some good tips from this site. Thanks for having me

We are glad to have you with us. Welcome from Michigan. I think taking classes is the best way to start. That way you learn the correct way and don't have to unlearn any of the wrong ways. I hope you have fun with each of your projects.

HI I am from Co. and want to welcome to the group of others who are addicted to quilting. Try to take some classes and maybe a quilt group because it is more fun to work with others and they are always so ready to help with any problems they may have.; Most of all, have fun. JO
