Welcome from Louisiana! I am self taught. I got an easy quilt book and followed the steps in it. If you have a quilt shop near you sign up for some beginner classes. Just remember to have fun.

Hello Denise, welcome from Minnesota! I suggest starting with a beginners quilting class. That helped me out a lot. Then I joined a guild.
