:lol: Hello Everyone,

I am new to this site and i am a beginner or you can say a advance beginner in quilting. I am getting ready to make a Dresden Plate anyone with ideas please let me know.

Hi Jerrie and welcome to the group! Wow, a dresdan plate, love the pattern but still have a love/hate relationship with curves :lol: Ask away if you have specific questions and I am sure that you will get some answers/advice. Looking forward to seeing/hearing more from you :D

Hi Jerrie,

welcome!! I made a dresden plate as my very first project and enjoyed it very much. The only advice i would give is to make sure your 1/4 inch seams are accurate as i tended to make mine not quite that wide and had to resew over quite a few pieces but that made all the dresden plates work out. It was fun making them and i hope to make another one in the future... once i do all my wanna dos!

Thank you Everyone before i joined the group i watched and seen how helping everyone are and very knowledgable. My very first quilt was the sue bonnet which is pictured. i will post the a block when i finish one.
