Hi - My name is Debbi and I have been quilting for just over a year now. The addiction started when my husband bought me a new Embroidery machine. One thing led to another and here I am. I combine the machine embroidery with my quilts. Have made 2 alphabet quilts, and several Christmas quilts so far. Working on tackling a more challenging project right now.

Hi, Debbi.
Glad to have you aboard. This is a great place to make new friends and share ideas. Your quilt is beautiful. I'm impressed that you've only been quilting for about a year. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Hi, Debbi. Welcome to the Quilters' Board! I also have an embroidery machine. How big are your embroidered squares in the quilt? I really like it. My favorite color is blue. :D
My machine embroiders a maximum 4" x 4" area.

Welcome Deb - you'll get lots of ideas here. There are some others who do machine embroidery, too

Welcome - that is a really cool quilt!   Great colors. It must have been fun picking out the characters to embroider. Who is the lucky recipient??

I actually found the animal alphabet on annthegran.com. I made this for my sister-In-law's daughter about this time last year.

Also, my machine will do up to a 5x7 area. I also got a larger hoop to do bigger pictures but the hoop has different clips to move it up or down as needed to accomodate the larger pictures.
