Hi, I am from Auckland New Zealand and a quilter of many years. I began quilting as a hobby to relieve the stress of my everyday job, but now that I am not working this is what I like to do most of the time. Making large quilts was what I had usually done but all the family and my friends have enough so I am redirecting to other things such as bags. I am helped by my Bishon, candy, and worried about by John my husband who cannot work out why a woman needs so much material, so many books, and claims they need use two sewing machines and could do with another

Welcome from Florida and congraulations on your retirement. Husbands just don't understand about quilts and fabric. I hate to admit but I am addicted to fabric; love to see it, feel it, and imagine what it could become.

Greetings from Colorado. I know you will really enjoy this site. My husband has given up on meeeee. I have 6 machines and he just keeps shaking his head when I buy more material.
