Hello, All,

My Momma introduced me your news letter and website several months ago and I am just now getting around to introducing myself. I have really enjoyed looking at the beautiful quilts you all have made and I have recieved some VERY good instructions and advice on my new hobby. I moved to San Angelo several months ago to marry my high school sweetheart (after 20 years apart) and am settling in with him and my wonderful 9 year old stepson. I have only completed 1 queen size quilt and am working on another for my DH who loves all thing Oriental that will have to wait until I finish a baby quilt for my youngest niece. For Christmas I made 5 baby doll quilts for my nieces and great-neices and a little girl for a former co-worker using a modified crazy quilt pattern, which was inspired by one of the news letters. Thank you for all of your input. I attached a picture of one of the baby doll quilts I made.

All of the girls, who range in age from 2 to 5 years) loved their blankets and immediately wrapped the babydolls in them - the babies my DH inisted they each needed to go with their new blankets. I love it here!!
