Hi from Fort Worth. I've been hanging out for awhile admiring all your pretty quilts. I have been quilting for 4 years now. Have completed 4 large quilts and several small ones (baby quilts, quilts for Hospice) and have a lot of WIPs. I handquilt with a group of friends twice a week at the Senior Center in Bedford. While we quilt, we discuss current events, families, pets, etc. We also solve all the world's problems and we laugh--a lot! My mother pieced a lovely double wedding ring quilt for me before she died a few years ago. I had planned to have it machine quilted, but after thinking about all the time and effort Mother spent, and after looking at the pattern, I decided to learn to quilt myself.
