Hi! I'm a retired Senior Center Director who was introduced to quilting by a super lady who teaches a class at the center. I've found that I enjoy finishing more than piecing, so I bought a Viking Mega Quilter 18 and am trying to learn all I can. Anyone out there got a machine like this & maybe tips to share? :D

You have a sweet machine. I used to sell Vikings and really got to like this one. The only thing I didn't like was the Q-bot that came with it, was difficult to learn to use.

You may want to join the homequiltingsystems group at http://groups.yahoo.com . This is a very active group of quilters using midarm and longarm machines. Lots of info and tips in the files section of the group, plus members are very helpful.
