Default Newbee

Hello everyone. I am new to the Message Board today. I am a 55 year old RN and have started quilting just a year ago. My grandmother hand quilted and I always said that I wanted to quilt like her when I got older. Well now is my time to shine. I have just purchased a long arm quilting machine and frame and am waiting for it to arrive. I will be very busy in the next few months learning how to machine quilt on it. I love to sew and every new project gets me very excited and when started it is hard to stop. I am still working full time and teaching new nurses as well. I hope to make machine quilting my retirement fun. I look forward to talking with all of you and learning some new things about quilting as i go. Happy to be here.

Greeting from Colorado!

What brand of machine did you get?

Make sure to tell us how you like it.

I'm looking forward to seeing your new creations.
