Wow Germany...thats awesome. My son took 5years of german. He's very good at it. He and his girl actually got to go to Germany 3 years ago, he said he LOVED it there. What kind of quilting do you like to do?

Thank you :) I had a third cousin who lived in Cedar Rapids. We went to visit...many moons ago when I was a girl. His house was a Sears and Roebuck kit that they build. GORGEOUS. Beautiful country.

I have read that many LA's are using a polyester thread for quilting now, due to having issues like yours with cotton :wink:
