Hello from northwest Iowa, you have found the best place for quilters to share ideas, and learn from each other. Please take time to investigate all the parts of this site, there are so many good things. Tell us about your favorite colors and patterns, please.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I'm sure I'm in excellent company. I will have to remember to take photos to show. My big project at present is a vortex quilt I'm almost finished the top and thinking about the back. I've been doing a sampler quilt through my local quilting shop which has been good for seeing different techniques I would like to do many different styles but I have to say the log cabin block is a favourite so many diffent looks you can get and half square triangles. Lucky I have a large family to practice on!
