Welcome from Colorado. You will find that you have lot in common with a lot of us. Check out the Vintage and Antique Sewing Machine section if you haven't already. We love to tinker with older machines. I also have three treadle machines (one of them I have treadling), and a featherweight.

Welcome from west central Illinois! There's a ton of help and info here. This is as addicting as quilting is.

Hi and welcome! I was born and raised in Chicago and used to live in Oak Forest, Illinois before moving out west. Be sure to check out the Vintage Sewing Machine section of the board.

KNLSMITH

Yes I do go to Peddlers Way
. Have occassionally taken a class there. It is a good store and close to home, especially since Cozy closed. Although my favorite store is Piece and Applique in Rochester near Springfield. I am in love with Batiks and they have a great selection. Wide backs go to Ma's Got a Notion in Havanna. They have a great selection. Also had Sue (Ma's) quilt a wall hanging for me....won a "honorable mention in local quilt show. (still my favorite quilt.) I'd post a picture if I knew how but have never learned much about the computer. Even with two quilt stores (Cozy Corner and Cotton Stitches) closing we still have a great choice of quilt stores to go to in our area.
