Hey yall. I am new to quilting and this site.
I am on a "stop over" in Texas from Charlotte NC on my way to Idaho....
A southern baptist, upper middle class, city girl fell in love with a Idaho morman cowboy LOL who now drives over the road, nope cant get any more different than that. Yes I gave it all up for love ....he is worth it. Or I should say WE are worth it.
I use to teach as an science educator in an innercity school in Charlotte I am now a calf raiser on a Dairy Farm eeekkkk I do everything from bringing the new babies into the barn to bottle feeding to iv'ing and giving meds.
I have quilted using easy kits before maybe 2 -3 times. I needed something to be mine for fun. Since I crochet and knit I wanted to get better at quilting.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of yall
Oh my avatar is a picture that I chnged in photoshop that inspired me to learn quilting better so I can make that into a block.

Welcome from a Kansas girl that fell in love with a mormon Idaho engineer:) he recently moved to Kansas and except for lack of mountains to use as lanscape markers, he only gets lost every now and then on the plains:) Look up Stack and Whack. That method will make it incredibly easy to achieve your avatar block.
