Welcome from Michigan! I agree with IfStamper, find some hand sewing to do until you can find that 'special space'.

So sorry for your losses. You say you can't quilt in your home. So where are you quilting? I don't mean to sound pushy, but if you're depressed, and of course you are with your losses, you need to help yourself. The best way to do that is to immerse yourself in things that give you pleasure. If quilting is one, then find a place to quilt in your home. Or find some kind of sewing or crafting you can do in your home. This is a must. I've been through losses, terrible losses, and it takes time for things to get easier. In the mean time, well --- call them hobbies if you must --- but they were my lifesavers, the places where I could go and lose myself for a little while. They kept my sanity. You need them.

Write back to us if you need any help or ideas in setting up a small quilting space, or ideas about hand work or crafts you can do. We're here to help.
