Hi,
I'm a new member and new quilter. I am working on quilt #3. I am self taught and fumbling through this wonderful experience. My first quilt was a king size for my bedroom, its not perfect but I made it by myselft. My husband thinks its great, bless his heart b/c it has some pretty puckers on the back. Oh well, practice, practice, practice. I'm sure I'll have some pretty stupid questions in the future. Thanks for the message board, it has already answered many of my questions. Oh, I live in WV and have no one in my family that even sews, so I appreciate any feedback.

Welcome to the board from Southern California. A king size quilt for your first one is quite the undertaking. Glad it did not stop you there!!!

Welcome, and big waves from Ireland - what is a few puckers on your first quilt? One that big is hard to keep free of puckers, and you will get better as you go along. There are no quilt police on this board either.

A gal after my own heart! If you're gonna do something, do it big! Welcome from Missouri! This is the right place to ask questions! And we like pictures! If you ask for an opinion, we have lots to offer!

Hi and welcome from Tucson, Arizona. Glad to hear you've turned to quilting--it's a great pastime and quite addictive :)....but in a good way.
If you need any questions answered...just ask :), there are so many experts on this site. I've learned so much in the last couple of months.

Welcome from sunny Southern California. A KING for your first? You've got the right stuff. Hey, we all like seeing where everyone is from. If you go into My Profile and fill in the FROM line, it will show everytime you make a post.
