Welcome from Clovis, CA. You and I seem to have different thoughts on piecing. Paper piecing scares me but winging it on any other quilt piecing I can be fearless about.

Welcome from Florida (originally from Louisiana). Don't be scared of any of it! Piecing is awesome! And if you don't like it, a ripper fixes everything! I was a brand newbie a year and a half ago - jumped in head first. Nobody told me I should start with beginner quilts! If I liked it, I did it - with a LOT of encouragement and advice from this board. Use it well, the talent and resources here are the best there are anywhere!
