Newbie from UK
Hello everyone, I'm not new to sewing but am a new to patchwork / quilting. To begin with I think I will be trying some fairly straight forward patterns and maybe a baby quilt :-) Not sure I can contribute much at the moment but will be happy to pass on any tips I might come across. Chris, welcome from New York state! Many of us started the same as you. Sewing first and then you get bitten by the quilting bug! Welcome to the QB. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here and learn a lot. It's fun to see what everyone else is up to. Inspiration is just around the corner! Good luck and welcome!

Welcome from Ontario, Canada. There are great resources on the internet. I think the Gourmetquilter is from the UK and she has lots of youtube videos. Another great resource are the youtube vides done by Jenny Doan for the Missouri Star Quilt co.

Welcome from SC Texas. I also was sewing for years before I started quilting. I still do both but enjoy quilting much more than fashion sewing. So happy you joined us, I am sure you will enjoy the board.
