Welcome! You'll find so many wonderful things on this site. Just a great bunch of people. Good luck on the Lone Star. I have wanted to make one as well and haven't had the nerves yet to try. Working on getting my courage up for it though.

Welcome from Southern California. I made a half a dozen Lone Star quilts. Just have to be so careful with the bias edges. I made an actual size cut out template of the final finished diamond shape and use that when pressing the rows of the diamond so I could see any small mistakes that I had made and be able to correct the error. It worked very well for me.

Welcome from Oklahoma. I know how it feels to sit there staring at the fabric, almost afraid to move. I have had to make myself keep going. Just tell yourself you will do one section. Then when you have that down, it may be a bit easier to keep going.
