I am new to this site, I am trying to design a quilt for my equestrian grandaughter. Need ideas. Already appliquing blue ribbons, boots, hard hat, jumping horse. Any other suggestions for my champion. Thanks to anyone who has an idea. Joschell

I seen the other day in the classifieds where someone had a pattern for sale that was very cute with cowboy boots. Might check there for the pattern

You might want consider a photo of your Granddaughter with her horse to be printed onto fabric. You could include it as part of the quilt top, or even use it on back as part of the label. A definitely wonderful memory quilt from her Grandmother!

hugs, Jupiter

How about bridles, bits, horse shoes, her riding outfit, the fences, etc., that she jumps over?

I do like the idea of including her picture on her horse, that might just work. Thanks for all the great input.
I love all you girls like a hog loves slops. Jo
