What I would like to learn is "snippets". I purchased a Mckenna Ryan Serendipity pattern and would like to snippet but just don't know mostly what NOT to do. I have just ordered a book "Snippet Sensations" (not received yet) but sometimes books do not provide what open communication can. So anyone who can give me hints, please do so before I screw up a beautiful landscape pattern. Thanks!

Hi Anne, I've heard of snippets but I don't know what it is. I'm interested in hearing more about it.

Hi- sorry I haven't gotten back sooner. Snippet is to cut pieces of fabric in tiny pieces to create a picture, landscape. the best book available is Snippet Sensations by Cindy Walter. She is the snippet queen and the directions are great. Something new to do so have fun with it and just be creative.

Hey,
I'm the Becky that lived in Hiram, I now live in Aragon, about 5 miles from Brasil Mtn. I'm curious, did you get your snippet bk? I seen a demo, by a lady that snipped alot of fabric into little pieces, then layed them on a base peice of fabric, and then layed tulle over the top and did like a stipple stitch over it, to create trees and different landscape designs. Is that what snippets are? How are you doing with it?

Hi Anne,
I have my brother and his family living in Calhoun, GA and a first cousin about an hour from there west. I love Georgia.

Don't know a thing about landscape quilting but I wanted to welcome you to our great group and hope you'll come around often!

Happy Quilting,
Sharon
