Hi everybody - just joined the message board. I am 50 something :) ! I live in Midwestern Ontario where today there is a freezing rain/ snowsquall warning. I took a beginning quilting class a few years ago but haven't gotten around to doing too much lately. Recently, went through m-i-l 's stuff after her death and we found 24 quilts. They were divided up amongst children & grandchildren. So now I want to make some too. Hope this hasn't been too long an intro.

Good morning everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself as I have just joined. I live in Southern Ontario, Canada, & we, too, were just blasted by freezing rain, & snow. Great day for staying home. I have been married 37 years to my wonderful husband who indulges me in my fabric addiction, & we have 3 children, & 17 grandchildren. I have been quilting for about 5 years. I haven't quilted alot, but I do have some unfinished tops. :) I look forward to chatting & getting to know you. Yvonne.

Welcome to both of you! We're a quilting bunch here for sure. Everyone should make a recorded copy of their own quilts. It's just so inspiring to look back on them and start the creative juices flowing.....don't you think?
Look forward to seeing you both more,
Sharon

Recently I've learned a lesson about taking pictures of the quilts we make, I have made several quilts for our kids, well our son and his wife split and they never used the king size quilt I hand quilted for them, its still in the bag I gave it to them 3 years ago. He move out and forgot the quilt and is haveing a hard time getting it back now, and do you think eather one of us can remember what that quilt looks like. I don't have a clue. So take pictures. I've learned...
