Hi! I'm new to this forum. I've been quilting for about 5 years and am self taught, so have many things to learn. I'm at least a 4th generation quilter with many memories of sitting with my grandmother as she worked at her quilting frame.
I'm looking for the original pattern and instructions for the PANDA from Down Under designed by Margaret Rolfe in 1989. I have an old magazine with pictures and some measurements, but the instructions aren't very complete. I've looked on line, but have only found an updated version of this panda. I like the original one better. I would appreciate it if anyone has this for me.

I really love hand quilting and am just starting to do some applique work. I'm not very good at free-motion quilting. I hear I just have to practice it a lot to get better. Any suggestions?

Welcome from Georgia-glad to have you with us. I was not a quilter in 1989, so I cannot help you with the Panda Pattern. Hope there is someone here who can.
