Another newbie from NC
Hi all!
Technically, I'm not a newbie. I quilted for a few years between college and children. Now, 20 years later, I am come back to a fondly remembered hobby, but with significantly less vision. So I am figuring out how to do things all over again. I can't see the needle on my sewing machine anymore, and I have to use magnifiers to use my tools and see my stitches. So far, going back to doing everything by hand has worked the best - tracing templates, hand cutting, hand piecing, & hand quilting. Good thing I've always enjoyed lap quilting! :D |

Welcome. I hope you enjoy quilting like you did 20 years ago. Sorry you eyesight is not good, but do not get discouraged you will find lots of ideas how to do thing to make them easier. :)
