I am a beginning quilter and just finished up two quilts in the last couple of months. Because, I am new at this I was very critical of my work. One of the quilts had embroidered blocks of soldiers, tanks, sayings, ect. The other one was a crazy quilt. I had wanted to enter them into the South Plains Fair here in Texas, but thought they wasn't good enough, but I was so proud of both of them that I wanted to show them off. So, I did take them and entered them in the competition. And much to my surprise they both won blue ribbons. I nearly fainted when I found out.
