WOW! I can't believe I didn't stumble upon this forum sooner! This is an amazing site. I made my first quilt in 1978 and didn't have a clue what I was doing but needed a gift for a baby. Ugh! I didn't make another til '88. I've been quilting ever since. I also have a passion for making cloth dolls. They're fairies and trolls and whatever strikes my fancy. I've pretty much been a loner with my hobbies due to my work schedule, but after joining the ranks of the unemployed, I joined 2 local quilt guilds. I'm having a blast and love being able to share what I do with new friends and see the amazing quilts they produce. I'm looking forward to making new friends here and enjoying the forum.
