I hail from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.. I live in the lower southeastern corner on the Michigan-Wisonsin border. I have been enjoying reading all the posts for the past several months...I have been quilting for many years now (off and on at times) but I am not nearly as accomplished as many of the projects I've been seeing posted here...You'd think being retired I would have oodles of time to quilt, but sometimes don't get to my machine for 3-4 days...when I do, I really enjoy it. Most of my quilting is done for our local Hospital Gift Shop. We are a not for profit hospital, and have a small needleart group who does knitting, crocheting and quilting items to sell in the Gift Shop.

I am looking forward to spending alot of time with all of you on this message board...and learning much in the process.
