Hi from Minnesota. I've been reading this site for awhile so I finally decided to join. Lots of great ideas and support. Since I started quilting I'm going to be a grandma again. Never sewed for babies. Is there anything special I need to know-fabric care-type of fabric or what.

Hello from Minnesota! Oh, a new baby . . . I'm very patiently awaiting my first. I would wash the fabric with a gentle soap to remove the chemical residue and not put anything on the quilt that could be easily removed such as buttons or bows.
