I am Kristy from Sherman, TX. A friend of mine showed me this site and I was tickled pink. I am proud to say that Tracy, my friend, is the designer for the OWL quilt that has been getting raves...LOL I am 33 and have been quilting since college when a history class got me hooked. I am a member of a great guild and am currently working on many projects...like any other quilter...lol My baby is the hand cut(before I knew what a rotary cutter was...lol) hand pieced(before I had a machine) and am hand quilting it. It's beautiful...Anyway, I am glad to have found this and look forward to meeting and learning from some great quilters and making some new friends...you can never have to many of either of those...LOL

Hi and welcome from the warm and partly sunny greater Los Angeles area. My grandmother had made all her quilts by hand cutting and piecing. I admire that you are doing it that way.
Please post a picture!

Welcome from Oklahoma with a Massachusetts accent. So happy you could be here. There is always room for one more quilter.

Hi, welcome from East Texas. It's cold here too. DS came in from baseball pratice last night & said he missed the heat & was tired of freezing to death on the field. The field faces the north. We all have lots of fun here & plenty of help & good friends.
