Hi! My name is Melissa and I have been quilting for about 10 years now. My very first quilt was a baby quilt for my niece. She loved it to death - it now resides at my mom's house with a gigantic hole worn through it, she is holding on to it for her until she is older.
I have always followed other peoples patterns and been a huge purchaser of kits until this past year. I finally decided to branch out and design my own quilts and quilt blocks. I still look to other people for inspiration - but for the most part I am no long following other people's patterns. I am now making my own. I am so excited to be here in a quilt loving community. My single most favorite thing about the internet is finding communities like this! Thank you for having me here, it is an honor to be around such amazing quilters! Melissa PS.
