Greetings from Buffalo, New York! Our snow is starting to melt, and I can see patches of grass. No boots - yay!!
I'm a beginning quilter. I have made a puffy "biscuit" square purse years ago, and made one cat block square for a wall hanging. Have two cousins expecting soon (a boy in June and a girl in July) and want to try making them baby quilts. but have no design or fabric chosen as of yet. I did order some Insul Bright, a craft size batting, and a FQ that has cheater squares printed on it and will practice quilting a few potholders for now. If they don't turn out well, I plan to stick with puffy square quilts for the babies. Or, I saw rag quilts, they look cute, too. Well, just wanted to say hi and explain what I'm up to for now. Happy sewing! |

Hello, and welcome from Missouri! All our snow is gone!
I like biscuit quilts for babies, especially if you make them with pairs of blocks so they can match them as they get older, or like I Spy quilts for them to pick out all the goodies. Have fun with them! |
