Well - I have been a quilter for over 12 years and have made it a career for the last 5 or 6. The career part has taken over so much I have not made time for quilt fun. Looking through your website I get the fun part back. Don't get me wrong I LOVE my job - it is a dream job but I kind of miss the wimsical freedom of doing swaps, retreats and gossip.

I get you! The same happens to me... sometimes I think I used to sew more when it was a hobby. Fortunately, there are fun quilters like those found here who stimulate you to do more personal sewing and/or through whom you can live vicariously! I, too, am new here and love this active group.
