Hi! I've been lurking for a few months and finally registered.

I am a quilter in Iowa. I've been piecing together quilts since I was a little girl, but it has only been the past few years making baby quilts that I learned to join the top to a bottom and bind them.

This past 6 months I finally got into free motion quilting, which I LOVE. (I didn't have the right tools for straight stitch on the baby quilts- just a regular foot with no adjustable pressure, so that might be why I didn't like that. When I ordered my walking foot, it came with a darning foot, and that was just so much more fun to play with.)

A few months ago I traded in my low end machine for a fancy Bernina 430, and now I am really trying to hone my FMQ skills!

I've really learned a ton from lurking, so I'm looking forward to participating here :)
