Hello from Maryland
Hello, my name is Kala. I live in Frederick MD and would love to meet others in my area. I've been quilting since 1998. I don't have a lot of quilts because I spend most of my time making virtual quilts in EQ. In other words, I dream more than I quilt...but I'm ok with that. I mostly make lap sized or wallhangings because I have the attention span of a squirrel and have a hard time putting much time into anything bigger. Currently, I have 20-30 UFOs that I'm working to finish up. I've been lurking at this site for awhile and finally decided to come out and introduce myself.

Hi kala. Glad you joined in the fun in QB. I am new to QB too. Hello from NC.

Welcome and Hello....I am frightened of anyone who can think in EQ, much less use the program. If you dream in computereze, you certainly don't have a short attention span. Most of the time I can't even remember what I am working on.
I like you already as you have so many UFO's as I can relate to that although I talk more about finishing than actual doing. I am so glad you decided to sign on. I hope you haven't been affected by the terrible winter storm that swept the NE? Love your sense of humor - you rock. |
I don't know how I missed this. I think they'll like the area. Close (but not too close) to the DC area. We recently moved from Alexandria, and there's such a big difference in everything, and its just an hour away!
