Hello from Missouri

Hi! My name is Norma. I am learning to quilt. I am retired, married to the same great guy for almost 47 years. We have an adult daughter and an adult son and 2 adorable grandsons. I have made several Project Linus quilts and several lap quilts. I am just finishing my first king size quilt. I'm learning to FMQ, but still have a lot of practicing to do. I have been on the board for a while and have learned so much from all the helpful people here. Maybe some day I will feel confident enough in my quilting abilities to post a picture of one of my quilts---if I can figure out how to post a picture. I'll try posting a piture of my quilting room supervisor, Andy. He is a ragdoll kitty who thinks he has to be in the middle of whatever I am doing. Sometimes I just have to stop and pet a kitty. lol

Happy quilting!

Norma

Welcome Norma! What is it with cats and quilts (and sewing machines)? LOL!

Welcome from Where G Washington crossed the Delaware!

My supervisor loves to watch the steam from the iron and to make sure I cut my fabric squarely!

Now you know how to post pics so lets see some of your creations!

Greetings Norma! Love the picture of your fur baby I think cats must like the sewing machines because they purr when they are stitching

Another Missouri welcome - this one coming from Lebanon. Now that you can put pictures on here we would love to see more.

Central MO here where there are several great quilt stores! My kitty loves to sit on the other side of the sewing machine and watch the fabric come through, either that or she wants to lay on the next strips I want to sew! Gotta love our fur babies!

A warm welcome from North Central Washington. Andy looks like a sweetie. I have my own supervisor, an orange calico named Baby Girl that likes to keep an eye on me while I'm working or sewing.
