Yes, from the other side of the world I am saying HI to you all! My name is Marianna and I live close to the capital Amsterdam, where I was born too, almost 48 years ago. I live there with my hubby and my brown Labrador Flopke (english Floppy) who is 18 months young. I am a fan of traditional patchwork and am quilting since october 2001. I especially love all kinds of samplers and am making a Dear Jane since 2003 I believe (lost a bit track of time). Currently I am working on a quilt with hand embroidered blocks in it too. Cross stitched blocks. I love that too to do. Very relaxing. I also have a embroidery machine, but that is a total different kind of hobby, but I do love to combine all sorts of fabric hobbies together!
