Hi and welcome from Southern California! I have a Brother PC420 Project Runway and love it. I don't do much machine quilting except a few smaller crafty projects (mostly stippling), but love it for piecing and general sewing. I make purses/totes to sell and my machine is very heavily used. I find them very easy to use, in fact, just bought another Brother (a cheaper one, though) as a back-up machine.

Hi,
I just discovered the Quilting Board while looking for a new sewing machine. My husband and I live in northern California. I'm a new quilter (almost a year) and I've decided to replace my 30 year old New Home. My budget is around $500 and I've been looking at the Brother PC240 machine as I've read many positive reviews. I would apprciate any advice and/or comments, This site has been a wealth of information for me already! Thanks |
