Taught by my grandmother, I've been sewing all my life; don't remember a time without needle and thread. Made my first quilt 35 yrs ago. Married 39 years, with 5 children, only have 10 yr old son at home. We live on a farm/ranch. I was a stay-at-home mom until need sent me back to work. Worked in ICU during nursing career. Now retired (disabled, use wheelchair) and I love to sew, especially QOVs and charity baby quilts!
