I've been quilting about 5 years now, took over where my mom in law left off. Haven't done any applique, but you never know. Having done a few king size quilts--am now down to doing lap quilts :!: Have a few UFO's but I do love buying fabric :shock: Am still doing quilts for all my extended family. Nice to find a quilters board!!!!

Hi - I'm from small town North Dakota where the snow drifts are piling higher every week. It's great quilting weather. I've been sewing quilt tops as long as I can remember and I hand tie most of them. I'm working on charity quilts for Porcupine Mission in SD right now and starting on Quilts for Valor. I've also made a quilt for each graduating employee at my business, a Drive Inn restaurant which I've owned for over 30 years, so that's around 100 quilts. I'm retired now so I have more time to devote to it. I'm a widow and I live alone so my mess is just my own!! Anyone else here from ND??
